New VersiWeld TPO Prefabricated Products

Just a few days ago, Versico released a statement announcing that their new prefabricated VersiWeld products will be made with Versico's new TPO Detail Membrane. This new detail membrane has several new benefits and will be affecting several prefabricated products.

TPO Detail Membrane

This new membrane brings a few big benefits:

• Eliminates need for T-joint covers at three-way membrane intersections
• Provides easier application around penetrations and step-offs
• Provides easier installation in a wider range of temperatures

These benefits will save installers a significant amount of labor costs and also allow them to install Versico roofs year-round.

Kayla Joins the Versico Team

We just picked up a new member of the team here at 6SS and so did Versico. Around the time Heather joined our team, Kayla joined Versico's. Kayla will be the social media marketer at Versico. It is a new position that will help Versico rebrand themselves, which will also help us rebrand them here in the Southeast.

Kayla is putting out content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter multiple times per week. She wants to promote Versico and commercial roofers by using the pictures that commercial roofing companies take of their latest jobs, so be sure to check out Versico's website and send your pictures her way. You just may be featured on Versico's website and social media accounts.

New Addition to the Six Sided Sales Team

Welcome, Heather Williams

We'd like to welcome aboard our newest addition to the team, Heather Williams. Heather has previously been the assistant branch manager of an ABC Supply in northern Jacksonville, one of the busiest branches in the state of Florida. She has provided a tremendous amount of value for the branch managing fleets of equipment, building close relationships with manufacturers and customers, and saving the branch thousands of dollars per year.

Heather has taken the past couple of years off in order to raise her baby girl. Heather left ABC Supply in 2014 to spend time taking care of her daughter before she went off to preschool. Now that her daughter is back in school, Heather is excited to rejoin the workforce.

Heather will be focusing on the Florida section of Six Sided Sales' territory. She will be representing the following products: Versico, Carlisle WIP, Cellofoam, 2001, Lucas, and BASE Lightning Protection. She will be expanding our product lines in roofing stores like ABC.

What Does This Mean for You?

Since Heather will be focusing on Florida, this frees up Wes and Brandon's time to focus on the territory in Tennessee and Georgia and also gives the Florida region a designated sales rep to be in contact with.

Heather will be integral in giving our customers the time and attention they deserve. She will also be able to focus on giving customers the right product at the right price.

Versico QA (Quick Applied) TPO

TPO can be labor-intensive to put down. It can take a lot of time and material. Seam tape has started to become peel-and-stick to remedy the same issues with seam tape. So, Versico thought, why not apply this large-scale with TPO sheets? This was the result:

Versico DASH Dual Tank in action

Versico DASH Dual Tank is one of the most innovative products in recent history for roofing contractors. Versico recently released a product that will allow you to lay up to 240 squares in one day with a crew of eight guys. No pace cart. No down time. Each set of A and B tanks can put down 30 squares of fleeceback. Shown here is what is called the serpentine method, in which you spray a bead 12in. on center. To go even faster, use the spatter pattern method. Take the gun, turn it sideways, hold down the trigger, and spray the mixture onto the insulation, then just roll the fleeceback on. Not only is this quicker, but it also provides more attachment points and makes the fleeceback sit flatter on the insulation. This method is approved by Versico.
